Hi, Friends!

There’s an adorable collaboration released tonight by Newton’s Nook called Pocket Full of Happiness. If that title doesn’t give you any indication of what this set is all about, I suppose only a card using the adorable stamps will! We literally have pockets full of happiness!

I’m not a cat person myself – but those puppies are adorable! Ok…ok….that cat illustration is pretty darn cute too! I stamped and colored them with Copic markers.

Cat:  C0, C2, C3, C5
Spotted Dog:  E0000, E50, E42, E53, E43, E44, E47, E49
Brown Dog:  E30, E31, E35
Purples:  BV000, BC01, BV02, BV08
Teals:  BG10, BG11, BG15, BG18
Blues:  B91, B95, B97, B99

For my background, I used the Simple Patterns Trio Stencil and used the simple bars stencil to ink-blend a rainbow going across the panel vertically. After masking and ink-blending each color, I left the stencil in place and sprayed it with water to give it more texture.

Distress Oxide Ink colors used: Abandoned Coral, Spiced Marmalade, Squeezed Lemonade, Lucky Clover, Peacock Feathers, Mermaid Lagoon, Wilted Violet

I adhered my images, staggering them to leave space for the sentiment in the center bottom of the card with foam adhesive for lots of dimension
