Hi, Friends!

I’m thrilled to be a part of Gina K. Design’s newest release! I have watercolored the new Innocent Orchid set and it’s such a lovely and large set that fills my 5″x7″ card!

I stamped my image onto watercolor caardstocck with a light ink to do no-line watercolor. Then I used my Daniel Smith Watercolors to paint the flowers – using a few different shades of dark pink and purple to give my petals different tones.

After painting the flowers, I painted the leaves and then my buds – giving them a mixture of greens and purples from both the leaves and the main flowers.

Since the image is so large, I opted to stamp and emboss my sentiment over vellum. Before attaching, I trimmed my panel to mat my cardbase and splattered the watercolor panel with both white, green, and gold paint.
