Hi, Friends!

The new STAMPtember collaboration is from The Greeting Farm! This Got Cakes? set reminds me Hello Kitty – anyone else? That little kitty in the box – takes me back to my childhood!

I started by stamping and coloring my images with Copic markers. These images are all so cute!

Teals:  BG11, BG32, BG15
Grays:  C00, C1, C3
Greens:  YG11, G03, G09
Reds:  [R22, R24], [R12, R14]
Pinks:  RV10, RV11, RV14, R20
Purples:  V01, V04, V05
Yellow:  Y11
Browns:  [E34, E47, E49], [E41, E42, E43], [E000, E51, E11], [E55, E57, E79]

I wanted to give my background lots of color, so I masked off a 3/4″ border and ink-blended with Distress Oxide inks: Tattered Rose, Worn Lipstick, Seedless Preserves.

I adhered my images over the ink-blended panel using foam adhesive for dimension and finished by embossing the sentiment in white over black cardstock. Isn’t this cake fun for a girl’s birthday? I know my daughter would love it!
