Hey Friends!

I’m counting down with Clearly Besotted until their Holiday Release goes live on October 1st! I am so excited to be able to share inspiration because ALL of these stamp sets are adorable! Today’s card uses the Present a Plushie set.

I want to ask what’s cutter than little plushie critters breaking through gift boxes, but I can’t! Because there are too many cute things in this release! For this card, I started by stamping and colored my images using Copic markers.

Greens:  G43, G24, G29
Reds:  R22, R24, R29, R89
Grays:  [C0, C1, C3, C4, C6], [W1, W3]
Browns:  [E41, E42, E43], [E30, E31, E33]
Blush:  R20

I used the Building Blocks Stencil for my background – masking and ink-blending with red and green ever so lightly just to give the background a bit of color. I sprayed it with water to give it texture – even though the images covered up most of it.

To finish, I attached my images with foam adhesive, stamped my sentiment, and embellished with a few green jewels to carry through the holiday feel of this card.
