Simon Says Stamp – Make Merry Release – Falling Leaves Layering Stencils

Hey Friends!!!

Tonight is so exciting! Last month was super busy with STAMPtember but tonight marks a new month officially with the Make Merry Release! It is such a great release and I hope you’re excited for all the inspiration! The card I have created uses the new Falling Leaves Layering Stencils as well as the new Warm Hugs die.

This layering set is amazing – it comes with the full stencil, then 4 more broken into separate images so you can add lots of color. I LOVE THAT! I spent a lot of time moving between the layers to add different colors to create my ink-blended background.

After trimming down my panel, I splattered it with gold ink to give it some more texture and interest. For the sentiment, I die-cut the Warm Hugs halo using vellum bc i wanted to be able to see the colors from the background. Then I die-cut the words 4 times in white and the once more from a panel I ink-blended using a few colors I used on the background (colors linked below).

To finish my card, I added a few iridescent sequins.
