Poppy Stamps – Holly Background

Hi, Friends!

There are a few things that I can’t resist when it comes to holiday products – holly and snowflakes! When I saw this gorgeous Holly Background from Poppy Stamps, I knew I wanted to create a card with it!

I first die-cut it one time to color with Copic markers. I actually colored all the berries and leaves too. But once I was done, I decided not to use them bc I liked the open feel with bold contrast of color.

Holly: G29
Leaves: G03, G09
Berries: R59

I layered my die-cut background with 3 more layers of white to build up some height for dimension. For the background, I ink-blended Peacock Feathers and Tumbled Glass Distress Oxide Inks and splattered it with some teal paint.

My sentiment uses the Clean Line Christmas stamp and die set. I embossed it and attached it to my card panel using two layers of foam adhesive. Finally, I embellished it with some Nuvo Glitter White Blizzard drops.

I hope you like my card! I think these could easily be mass produced for the holidays if you skip a few steps (layering the die-cuts, embellishment, or embossing). I hope it inspires you to create!
