Simon Says Stamp – Autumn Leaves

Hi, Friends!

It’s fall time and there’s a beautiful new set with the focus on fall leaves from the Simon Says Stamp Make Merry Release! The Autumn Leaves set has beautiful stitched lines – similar to the Spring Flowers series, if you’re familiar with those sets and illustrations.

To create my card, I stamped and colored a variety of foliage from the set using Copic markers.

Greens: [G40, G94, G99], [Y00, YG06, YG09]
Oranges: Y19, YR18, E09
Reds: R32, R35, R39, R59

After coloring and die-cutting the images, I ink-blended a white panel with some Bundled Sage Distress Oxide ink to give my background some subtle color. I die-cut my sentiment in black and glitter cardstock and began arranging a foliage spray from the center where I planned for my sentiment to be. After attaching the foliage, some directly to the card panel and some using foam adhesive, I splattered the panel (without the sentiment die) using white and red ink.

To finish, I attached my my sentiment from the Thankful for You die set at the center with foam adhesive to lift it to the same height as some of the foliage.
