I cannot believe it is November! We are kicking the month off with a new Lawn Fawnatics Challenge! The current theme is holiday cards with focus on a Christmas tree(s).

My card today uses the How You Bean? Christmas Cookie Add-On. I don’t have a lot of Christmas Tree images or dies from Lawn Fawn so I’m using what I have and though the Christmas cookie set would work. I did stamp extra tree cookies to make it the focus.

I began by stamping and coloring all of my images with Copic markers. To decorate the, I added some Copic lines for interest on the bell, snowflake/star and gingerbread as well as gel highlights on the trees.

Grays:  C1, C3, C5
Pinks:  RV000, RV10, RV11, RV13
Blues:  B0000, B000, B00, BG01, BG05
Greens:  G00, G03, G05
Reds:  R21, R22, R29
Yellows:  Y00, Y11, Y15
Browns:  E50, E53, E34

To create my background, I stenciled a brick pattern using the Brick Stencil and Lawn Fawn Mermaid ink. For the “table”, I trimmed a piece of Woodgrain cardstock and ink-blended it with Lawn Fawn Walnut ink.

I added some red and white baker’s twine to the neck of the jar and adhered my pieces to the card panel using foam adhesive in some areas to give it more dimension and interest. Then I attached my embossed sentiment with foam adhesive also.
