Hi, Friends!

Thanks for stopping by today – I’ve got a watercolor card today using a Waffle Flower set from a previous release that I think is absolutely beautiful! The Poppy Hawthorn set is a lovely arrangement of poppy and cherry blossoms.

My card today is a unique size – I wanted the arrange to stand straight so it came out to be 4 1/4″ x 6 1/4″. To make my card, I stamped with a light ink to watercolor with Daniel Smith watercolors.

Poppy: Pyrrol Crimson
Cherry Blossoms: Carbazole Violet
Leaves: Jadeite Genuine
Flower Centers: Payne’s Gray

My background is ink-blended with Tattered Rose Distress Oxide Ink. After die-cutting my image, I added it over my ink-blended panel using foam adhesive to give it dimension. Then I attached my embossed sentiment and embellished with some iridescent sequins.

I hope you like it! I like the soft background bc it doesn’t take away from the beautiful image. Thanks so much for stopping by today!
