Hello!

Thanks for stopping by today! I’ve created a card using a few WPlus9 products from last winter – they are classy and timelines and I hope you’ll enjoy it!

Today’s card features the Peaceful Dove and Pine Frame. The Peaceful Dove set features the large dove as well as all the foliage you see on my card. It’s a stamp-layering set so the color combinations are endless! For my bird, I used Distress Oxide Inks (Speckled Egg, Stormy Sky, Antique Linen, Hickory Smoke), and for the foliage, I used Simon Says Stamp Dye Inks (Rose Apple, Watermelon, Magnolia, Key Lime, Evergreen, Hydrangea).

After stamping all the flowers, foliage and dove, I die-cut the pine frame using white cardstock. On a card base, I ink-blended with the same Oxide inks that I used on the bird (Speckled Egg and Stormy Sky). I added Speckled Egg first, then Stormy sky towards the center and blended out to the lighter Speckled Egg around the edges.

Before adhering my images, I ink-blended the oval portion of the Pine Frame with Rose Apple dye ink. To finish, I adhered the larger stems along with the dove, then die-cut the Peace word and ink-blended with Rose Apple again to keep the colors uniform at the bottom of my word to give it a faded look. I used up the rest of my flowers and foliage all around the word to give the dove a bed of decor.
