We’ve had a lot of releases lately and I want to revisit the latest Simon Says Stamp release! There are new stamps and dies for non-holiday themes and I hope you’ve had plenty of time to check it out! The World of Love Sentiments is one we can all appreciate!

The world image is a solid stamp so I wanted to make it interesting and colorful by creating a rainbow. A stamp positioner is very helpful to stamp in multiple colors. I started with a red shade, then yellow – blending the two together to organically create the orange. Then I added blue – again, crossing into the yellow once more to organically create the green. The only non-primary color I added was the purple bc I wanted a brighter purple then I thought I could create with the blue and red that I chose.

When I was done stamping, with the stamp still in the same position, I stamped it with Versamark ink to add a layer of clear embossing powder over the rainbow image. It gives it an shine and raised surface that is quite nice.

I hope you like this card! It is super straight forward and easy to do – though I must say, it’s very important to be sure to re-align your cardstock before each impression to make sure the cardstock is in the right position. Ask me how I know!
