The new Simon Says Stamp January 2021 Card Kit is here and it’s perfect for winter! If you love snowflakes, this kit is for YOU! I’m obsessed with snowflakes and this entire kit was made for me (not really, but it was meant to be).

This has got to be the first time that I’ve used nearly the entire kit contents on one card! I first used the Filigree Embossing Folder over the Whimsy Stamps Blurry Flurries 6″ x 6″ Paper. Another reason why this kit was meant for me – I had this paper pack on my wishlist! I stamped Versamark ink inside the embossing folder before running it through the die-cutting machine so that I can add Perfect Pearls pigment powder to it. I love the shimmer that it adds!

Next, I die-cut the Eliza Snowflake from the Silver Holographic Copper Design cardstock from the kit. I then used some vellum to stamp the snowflake seal from the Snowflake Season stamp. I added all the layers to the background panel using foam tape for lots of dimension.

I embossed a sentiment from the stamp set in silver over black cardstock (I tried it on white cardstock and didn’t like it as much). To complete today’s card, I used a dab of liquid adhesive over the centers of the snowflakes and added Unicorn Confetti chunky glitter over it – BOTH are available in this kit, friends!

I really woke up the next morning after playing with this set and thought I could really simplify the card and mass produce since I need more Christmas cards! To simplify the original design, I left off the Versamark ink and Perfect Pearls.

I also left off the foam tape between the cardbase and panel and one foam layer under the silver snowflake. What do you think?! Have I gotten you excited about the kit’s contents? It truly is fabulous! I really do absolutely ADORE this kit! I’m going to need to buy more of the Whimsy Stamps Blurry Flurries paper too!
