Clearly Besotted – Prancing Plushies

Merry Christmas, Friends!

Wishing you a warm and cozy day with your family and friends – no matter how you are celebrating today! I don’t know about you, but Christmas has never been an all-day celebration for us. We will open gifts early and spend the rest of the day relaxing. In fact, I didn’t grow up celebrating birthdays or Christmases until I got married. I feel that every year, I pick up new holiday traditions to begin with my family. I’m so grateful for friends in my life who share those traditions and inspire me!

Today’s card features the Clearly Besotted Prancing Plushies. It is officially the last day to share a Christmas card for the year (at least for me).

I used Copic markers to color my entire image – no ink-blending at all!

Reds: R32, R35, R37, R39, RV69
Yellows: Y11, Y08
Greens: G21, G43, G24, G28, G29
Blues: [B0000, B000], [B41, B32, B45]
Grays: C1, C3, C5, C6
Browns: E40, E41, E30, E31, E34, E35, E37
Blush: R20

I stamped the scenic image along with the rooftop on a blank panel and colored them first. Then I stamped my sleigh and reindeer on a separate sheet of cardstock to color so that I can cut them out to adhere with foam adhesive for dimension.

The last thing to do was to add my sentiment – which I stamped directly on the snow portion of the card. To give my card some interest, I added white gel highlights on my images and dotted the top portion of my card with lots of snow and stars.
