Happy New Year!

I hope you all had a wonderful evening/morning! My post today is nothing celebratory of the New Year but I hope you like it anyway!

I absolute love critter dies so I had to have the MFT Joyful Giraffe set and the coordinating Giraffe Greetings. This card would make a cute baby card for both genders too! I don’t send a lot of baby cards so I kept mine simple.

The giraffe was really easy to put together. I used Ivory cardstock for the body – ink-blending it slightly with Barely Beige ink from Simon Says Stamp. I also added some Rose Cheeks ink for the blush before adding the brown spots and other elements. The die embosses where all the pieces should go and that makes the paper-piecing process so simple!

I added my giraffe over a white panel and matted it over some colorful patterned paper from the Positively Peppy Paper Pad. So easy and I hope you like it!
