Today marks the new start of another Lawn Fawnatics Challenge! Be sure to head over to the Lawn Fawnatics Blog to see all the inspiration from the Lawn Fawnatics team for this challenge! The theme is Outstanding Occasions and I’m sharing an anniversary card!

My husband and I used to exchange cards for Valentine’s Day and Anniversaries and before he got too busy, he made some for me using my tools, but it hasn’t happened in a while. Since I’m getting the chance to make some, I’m happy to have one on hand for him! I’m using the Stud Puffin set for my card today to create a slimline shaker card.

I stamped and colored my images with Copic markers. I stamped two each of the Stud Muffin images to get the 6.

Copics:  
Penguin:  R20,C0, C2, C3, C5, C7
Beaks and Feet:  Y15, YR15, YR09, R35

For my background, I used the Scallop Slimline With Hearts Landscape die to die-cut a Mermaid frame. Then I used Ballet Slippers cardstock to ink-blend some hearts using Worn Lipstick Distress Oxide Ink using the Conversation Heart Stencil. Then I die-cut the hearts panel and in-layed the letters back into the hearts onto a white piece of cardstock for my shaker card.

I stamped my sentiment from the Happy Everything stamp set at the bottom of my panel, then I filled my shaker card and sealed it using a sequin mix from Simon Says Stamp called Girl’s Best Friend – it’s a pretty mix and perfect for this card. I finished by attaching my Stud Muffins.
