Welcome to a new release and 7th Birthday Celebration for Pretty Pink Posh! Today is Day 1 (of 3) of inspiration and I’m so excited to be a part of this release. My card today features a few new products including Valentine Hearts, All My Love (for the sentiment) and the new Slimline Peekaboo Window dies.

I created a colorful slimline card by creating a striped background in rainbow colors. I actually made rainbow panels a few months ago and love having them on hand for use!

You can also create this same look using any colored patterned paper (without white), a lighter patterned paper and stamp in black or colored ink, colored cardstock, or ink-blended panels. There are so many ways to create a colorful background!

I die-cut my rainbow striped panel and a blank white panel using the Slimline Peekaboo Windows die. After stamping the rainbow panel with Versamark ink to emboss with white, I left the stamps in place so that I could stamp the images on the white panel using black ink – this serves as a template for die-cutting my window.

Once the rainbow panel is embossed and the window panel is die-cut, I can attach the window panel with foam adhesive to give it lots of dimension. To finish, I stamped and embossed my sentiment and attached in the lower third of my card before attaching it to a slimline cardbase.
