I have a fun project to share with you today! Simon Says Stamp released Box Card dies and Box Card Borders dies with the latest Love You, Too Release. I’ve been wanting to use the Fairy Tale Spinners set and thought it would be fun to use the opportunity to use these sets together.
I would’ve used the cute grass die from the Box Card Borders die for this card, but the Fairy Tale Spinners card comes with a nice grass stamp so I used that instead to create my box card.
I die-cut my box and stamped the grass along the top edge and ink-blended with Fern and Evergreen inks, knowing I would fussy cut the grass blades to make it more interesting. The inside flap of the box card is stamped and created the same way. I did cut off the excess grass at the bottom, so my box is shorter than the box of the original die cut. I like that I was able to modify my die-cut for this scene.
I stamped and colored the rest of the images to create my Fairy Tale scene. The butterfly on the left even floats using a strip of acetate.

I love that the box card folds up and fits perfectly inside and A2-sized envelope!
