Simon Says Stamp – Sweet Friend

Hello Friends!

I’m back with another card from the Simon Says Stamp Love You, Too Release! Today’s card features the Sweet Friend stamp and die set. It’s a beautiful rose set that I stamped and colored with Copic markers.

After coloring my images, I die-cut them and set them aside to work on my background.

Reds: R30, R32, R35, R39
Greens: G12, G14, G16
Blues: BG000, BG02 (Bee’s wings)
Yellows: Y00, Y15

My background is stamped using the Crackle Background stamp in Stone ink. I also ink-blended around the edges using the stamp ink-color to give it more color too.

To finish, I stamped and embossed my sentiment over vellum – this is a great way to add a sentiment if you feel you don’t have room for one because of the arrangement that is on your card like mine is today.
