Simon Says Stamp – Best Friend Ever Mini Slimline

Hi, Friends!

I love the Mini Slimline size and am sharing my first card in this size today. Simon Says Stamp released Mini Slimline Envelopes with the last release and I was inspired to create a card in this size. My card today measures 3.25″ x 6.25″ and fits inside the envelope perfectly.

I stamped and colored the same image twice from the Best Friend Ever stamp set using Copic markers similar to that of the Cotton Candy Mini Slimline Envelope for my card.

Pinks: RV10, R81, R83, R85
Blues: BG000, BG02, BG07
Greens: [G40, G43, G46], [G12, G14, G16]

After die-cutting, I added some white gel highlights and some black dot accents to my sprigs to give them more interest. I ink-blended some Worn Lipstick Distress Oxide ink on a white panel to mat my cardbase before attaching my images with foam adhesive.

I finished by stamping and embossing my sentiment and adhering it to the center of my card where the images meet.

I hope you enjoyed this card and find the size of this card easier to create with – the standard slimline size does have a lot more space to work with and depends on your image or scene.
