Hey Friends!
I’m sharing another winter card today using a holiday set. The Gnome for the Holidays set is another set that I love and am just now getting the chance to use! I love using things I purchased that I haven’t used before. Makes me feel less wasteful – I’m sure you know the feeling!
To create my card, I started first by embossing the trees and snowflakes on a white panel using clear embossing powder. I did some emboss-resist ink-blending using Cracked Pistachio, Mermaid Lagoon, and Blueprint Sketch Distress Oxide Inks. I then trimmed the panel and then splattered White Iridescent Shimmer Ink splatters all over for texture.
I stamped and colored my gnomes using Copic markers.
Skin/Beard: E0000, E50, E30, E11, R20
Teals: BG70, BG72, BG75
Reds: R32, R35, R37, R39
Grays: C0, C2, C4, C6, C7
I attached my images to the inked panel using foam adhesive and then finished by embossing my sentiments and attaching those with foam adhesive as well. I used a shimmer pen to add some shimmer to the word “gnomies” to give it some interest too.
