Happy Valentine’s Day! It’s also the release of the March 2021 Spring Windows Card Kit! You can order now and the kits will start shipping on 2/16/21!
I love the Spring Windows set – there are two window styles to choose from and I chose this big one with the shutters. The kit does NOT come with dies and I had to fussy cut, but I’m linking dies for you. I stamped and colored my window and brick accents with Copic markers.
Pinks: RV52, RV55, RV34
Yellows: Y13, Y17
Greens: [G000, G12, G14], [G02, G05], [G21, G24, G28]
Teals: BG32, BG45, BG49, BG75
Blues: B0000, B00
Purples: V01, V04, V09
Browns: E30, E33, E37
Grays: C2, C4, C6
After coloring the images, I fussy cut them to work on my background. The background is ink-blended with a combination of Pumice Stone and Tea Die Distress Oxide Inks – I wanted it to coordinate with the bricks I colored. I attached my images and layered it over some beautiful patterned paper from the kit (Carta Bella Flower Garden).
To finish, I die-cut the Beautiful die from white paper and vellum. Using some light green Copic markers from the greenery (G000, G12), I colored an ombre effect on the die-cut word before stacking it over another layer of white for dimension. By the way, the kit comes with vellum paper too!
