Simon Says Stamp – All The Feels Release – Spring Florals Mother’s Day Card

Hello, Friends!

Welcome to my first share for the Simon Says Stamp All The Feels Release! This release is full of springtime, mom-themed, and sentiment sets! I hope you’re excited! My card tonight uses two new sets – the Spring Flowers Background stamp as well as the Cathy Zielske Sassy Mama set! I didn’t exactly use sassy sentiments but now you know it’s not all sassy!

I began by embossing the Spring Flowers Background to a white panel and ink-blending it with Worn Lipstick and Scattered Straw Distress Oxide ink. I love how the orange organically appears when the two colors meet! I set the panel aside and stamped the Best Friend Ever floral cluster that coordinates with this background stamp – from the Love You Too Release!

Copic Markers Used:
Pinks: R81, R83, R85
Greens: YG11, YG06, YG09, G19
Teals: BG32, BG45, BG49, BG75

I layered some gold thread in the center of my ink-blended panel before adhering my floral image. Then I layered more thread before attaching my Mom sentiment on top with more foam adhesive for extra dimension. My Sassy Mama sentiment and sentiment strips are both embossed in white over black cardstock.

To finish my card, I attached a few iridescent sequins. I hope you like it! Mother’s Day is usually bittersweet for me – I wish I could give my mom a card, but sadly, she doesn’t know how to read and doesn’t understand the sentiment. The bright side is, that I have plenty of women I look up to who would enjoy a sweet Mother’s Day card. I hope you got some inspiration from tonight’s card to create! Thanks for stopping by!
