I was on the Simon Says Stamp Blog and YouTube Channel yesterday and want to share the project with you today. Be sure to check out the video for today’s card down below!
I don’t make a lot of cards with dark backgrounds but felt like doing just that for today’s card using the Slimline Florals set from the latest All the Feels Release from Simon Says Stamp. I colored the pretty floral image from this set using Copic markers.
Peaches: R00, R02
Browns: E31, E34, E37
Pinks: R81, R83, R85
Purples: V01, V04, V09
Grays: C0, C3
Greens: [G12, G16], [YG13, YG09], [G43, G46]
Yellows: Y11, Y15
Blues: B00, B04

I used Soft Navy cardstock for my background and intensified the border using Black Soot Distress Oxide Ink. Before doing so, I embossed my sentiment to make sure I prevented as much embossing powder mess as I could.
I finished by embellishing my card with Angel Aura Jewels from Gina K. Designs. I hope you like the contrast on this card! The coloring takes some time, but the card itself is very straight forward and easy to re-create. I hope you’re inspired by this project! Thanks for stopping by today!

Caly Person 
Dear Caly and SSS – This is just gorgeous and Caly is a phenomenal rep of the papercrafting industry. She is kind, professional, and a real artistic talent. I always enjoy and learn from her videos. I did not get the set this month b/c I have been spending, spending, spending for months and needed to “cool it” a bit. But I really love what she has done here and I have similar items for which I can use the prep method Caly showed.
