Hi Friends!

Today, Colorado Craft Company has released another set of Anita Jeram’s illustrations! I’m thrilled to be a part of this release and have two cards to share using these new illustrations. I used Amazing Mom and Love Art to watercolor two simple cards to share today.

I tried to color more loosely for my cards today – I hope you like it! Debby Hughes is always such an inspiration when it comes to watercolor and my cards are no where near as wonderful as hers!

The Amazing Mom set is just so sweet and accurately captures how truly amazing moms are at multi-tasking, don’t you think? I stamped both my cards with black ink to watercolor these cards because I felt the crisp black shares Anita Jeram’s illustrations better.

My second card is a little more colorful simply because I added a blue watercolor wash to the background. How fun is it to create your own life on canvas like these two mice are on this Love Art set? If only we could paint and draw our own lives!
