Pretty Pink Posh – Peonies

Hey Friends!

I’ve got another stenciled card that was featured in the Spring issue of Scrapbook & Cards Today. The issue was released a few weeks ago and to encourage viewers to visit the SCT blog or view the issue in person, I was not able to share my card with you until now. The aim was to share different techniques using stencils. You can view the online digital copy HERE.

My card today uses the Peonies Stencil from Pretty Pink Posh. I ink-blended the stencil using Distress Oxide Inks (Pine Needles, Mowed Lawn, Worn Lipstick, Seedless Preserves). You can fussy cut, but this stencil coordinates with the previously released Peonies stamp and die set.

I ink-blended my card panel using Tumbled Glass and Salty Ocean Distress Oxide Inks and sprayed it with water to give the background some texture.

I added the flowers and foliage and added more texture using splatters of white and black paint. To finish, I attached an embossed sentiment from the Simple Sentiments set from Pretty Pink Posh. I hope you like it! Thanks so much for stopping by today!
