Hello Friends!
Welcome to Day 2 of the Pretty Pink Posh Product Release Blog Hop! I’ve created two cards using new stencils that coordinate with previously-released stamps and dies!

One of the things I love most about Pretty Pink Posh is their floral sets and I love that there are coordinating stencils now. Stencils help me add color with hybrid and dye inks (pigment would work too) and I don’t have to spend a ton of time coloring and shading with markers or watercolors. It’s never perfect when you stencil, but I love the natural blend of colors – much like the blend of colors in nature.

My first card uses the Flourishing Fuchsias Stencil. I began by stenciling the images on white cardstock using Simon Says Stamp dye inks (Doll Pink, Magnolia, Hot Mama, Deep Purple, Key Lime, Fern).

After ink-blending, I use the coordinating stamp set to stamp the outlines (you can do this step before but I like to do it after because I think it creates a more crisp image). I left the ink off the stamens of the flowers as well as the stems, since the stamp would cover up the color. I ink-blended a card panel with Fern ink, then arranged my images to create my scene.

My sentiment is from the Simple Sentiments set. I finished my card by adding white gel highlights and some Clear Droplets.
Here’s a list of my supplies for the first card to recap (a full list of supplies will be at the end of this post):
Flourishing Fuchsia Stencil
Flourishing Fuchsia Stamp
Flourishing Fuchsia Die
Simple Sentiments
Clear Droplets

My second card uses the Geraniums Stencil. I wanted to use the stencils without adding the outline from the stamp. Again, I used Simon Says Stamp dye inks (Key Lime, Cotton Candy, Teeny Bikini, Watermelon). Unlike the Flourishing Fuchsias Stencil, this set is a 2-layer stencil.

I die-cut the images after ink-blending and wanted to create a floral spray with a bold sentiment at the center. My sentiment is embossed using the Spring Birds stamp set. I die-cut it with a Nested Circle Die and added foam adhesive to it to attach it to the center of the card.

I arranged my images around the sentiment and finished by adding some pink jewels to the centers of the flowers using a Valentines Jewel Mix.
Here are my supplies for my second card:
Geraniums Stencils
Geraniums Die
Spring Robins Stamp
Valentine Jewels
SSS Nested Circles
SSS Stitched Rectangles

I just love the first card!! It really shows that a stencil can be used just as well as a stamped image. I really love the look of stamping the outline after and highlighting with the gel pen. Beautiful!!

All of your added details, like the white gel lines, look great. They add a lot to the look. Really great coloring, too!
