Simon Says Stamp – Roseville Bouquet 3D Embossing Folder

Hi Friends!

It’s release night for Simon Says Stamp and the Rainbows Release products are here! I love the new 3D embossing folders from this release and had to use one to share with you! Today, I’m using the Roseville Bouquet folder. I try to use 3D embossing folders in new ways. I’ve watercolored them in the past, but decided to use Copic markers this time.

I embossed the image over white cardstock and colored it with Copic markers. Before moving on to a new color, I used a finger dauber and coordinating dye inks to add more color to the flowers (the pink, blue and yellow centers).

Reds: R89
Orange: YR31
Greens: G43, G46, G24, G28, YG13, YG17
Blue: BG01

After coloring, I fussy-cut my image so that I could give it an interesting background – by interesting, I mean my go-to Fog cardstock and ink-blended at a diagonal with my favorite color combination – Worn Lipstick with Seedless Preserves.

I finished my card by adding some iridescent sequins. What do you think of the fussy-cut embossed image? I hope you like it! Thanks for visiting!
