Hey Friends!

A new Lawn Fawnatics Challenge has begun! The theme this time around is Little Things – use smaller images as the focus of your card.

My card today uses A Bug Deal – the images of the bugs are tiny and it works well for this challenge. I stamped and die-cut all my bigs along with the branches and leaves from the stamp set using Copic markers

Reds: R32, R35, R37, R39
Pinks: RV10, RV11, RV14
Oranges: YR31, YR65
Yellows: Y11, Y15
Greens: G02, G05, G09
Teals: BG10, BG11, BG34
Blues: B00, B02
Purples: V000, V04
Browns: E30, E31, E23, E27
Grays: C1, C3, C5, C8

Instead of creating a scene, I used the Giant Big Hugs Die and used its negative to create a shaker card. I die-cut the big words and held everything in place using Glad Press ‘N Seal to hold it in place while I lifted it from the cutting plate. I then carefully added adhesive to the floating and loose parts on the back and adhered a layer of acetate to cover all the words for a shaker window.

I used a piece of Really Rainbow patterned Paper as my background. After add lots of sequins and jewels to the center of this panel, I added foam tape to my shaker window and sealed it over the rainbow panel to hold the shaker elements in place.
