Hi, Friends!

I am in a box card mood lately! They are so fun and easy to make! Today’s card uses the MFT Outside The Box dies. I decorate the box card using images from the Koala-Ty Time set.

I started by stamping and coloring my images with Copic markers. I colored the koalas with different hues of gray to make them more interesting.

Reds:  R32, R35, R39
Oranges:  YR000, YR00, YR02
Greens:  G12, G14, G16
Teals:  BG10, BG11, BG34
Blues:  B01, B04, B06
Browns:  E31, E34, E37
Grays/Koalas:  [T1, T3, T5, T7], [C1, C3, C5, C7], [W1, W3, W5, W7], R20

Next, I create my box. I die-cut the box frame using white cardstock and the decorative panels around the base with green patterned paper from the Petite Gingham Paper Pack. I stamped a sentiment on the front panel before adhering everything together.

The box inserts are die-cut from green cardstock using the Grassy Hills die for the Outside The Box width. I ink-blended them with Mowed Lawn Distress Oxide Ink and splattered them with green and white paint. The for the tall background panel, I ink-blended with Peacock Feathers and Cracked Pistachio. I also splattered this panel with white and teal paint.

I finished by decorating my box with all the colored images. I love all the layers and that it folds flat! I hope you like it!!
