Tim Holtz Distress Ink Reveal/Simon Says Stamp – Narwhal Friends

Hi, Friends!!

Tim Holtz just revealed the new Distress color! SURPRISE! It’s a beautiful deep blue called Prize Ribbon! They’re in house and shipping from Simon Says Stamp now!

I’ve created an ink-blended card using two other Distress colors so you can see the comparison. Order from the top: Salty Ocean, Blueprint Sketch, Prize Ribbon. I used the Slimline Wave Stencil and first ink-blended a heavy hand of each color, blending them together going from bottom up, then I used the same blending brushes to go over the waves to add a light color of layer where they were white.

To give the ink-blended panel some texture, I sprayed it with my Distress Sprayer. I set the panel aside to color some Narwhal Friends to create a mini slimline card. When I was done coloring, I die-cut the images and added some white gel highlights.

I finished my embossing my sentiments and attached everything to my ink-blended panel using foam adhesive. The new Prize Ribbon color is perfect for oceans and night skies!
