I have a project to share from the latest Gina K. Designs release. The Stay Positive set is illustrated by Hannah Drapinski – so much talent!

I started by stamping my images over Bristol Smooth cardstock to watercolor with Karin Brush Markers. I stamped with a black pigment ink and embossed it with clear embossing powder. I used only two markers to watercolor. I scribbled the paint onto a media mat – you can use glass or an acrylic block too – anything non-porus. Then with a damp brush, I picked up the color to apply to my image and moved the pigment around.

After I was done watercoloring, I fussy-cut the flowers and set them aside to work on the background. I ink-blended a white piece of cardstock in the corner with Bundled Sage and Rustic Wilderness Distress Oxide ink. I splattered it with with some water to give it texture before cutting the scalloped frame using the Master Layout 4 dies.

I attached my images over the ink-blended panel, then splattered it with white and gold paint. While that dry, I embossed a sentiment and fussy-cut it. To finish, I attached my sentiment and matted this panel over a gray panel. I hope you like it!
