I’m sharing a colorful card today using Anna’s Flowers. It was released several months ago and I’ve been wanting to use it and got the chance to create with it. It’s a 4″ x 6″ set with simple, solid blooms. To make it colorful, I’m using a rainbow of colors to stamp and overlap the different sizes of flowers on this set.

I used a dark and light shade from each set of colors, stamping in the lighter shade first, then adding the darker color at the center of the flowers with a small ink-blending tool by dabbing just the center of the flowers with ink.

When I was done stamping, I trimmed my panel to mat an A2-sized card base. To add more interest, I splattered it with some gold and white paint. I set the panel aside to work on my sentiment while it dried. My sentiment is die-cut from the Friend die. I also added a sub-sentiment using a strip that I cut from the Reverse Welcome Spring Sentiment Strips.

I finished my card by adhering some sequins from the Girl’s Best Friend mix. I love all things iridescent because they will coordinate with all the colors on your card. I hope you like it! Just a fun way to add colors and textures to an otherwise, one-layered card. Thanks for stopping by!
