I interrupt STAMPtember excitement with a holiday set of cards created with a new Holiday release from Pinkfresh Studio!  I’m a part of an Instagram Hop today, but wanted to share more details here. 

The new release includes many stencil sets with coordinating stamps, dies and hot foil plates!  My holiday set of cards today uses a variety of the products but the stars of the release and of these cards are the stencils.  I think this would be such a quick way to mass produce holiday cards!  They make for great single-layer cards as a part of a gift set too.

My first card features the Holiday Botanical Background Stencils.  Aside from snowflakes, I think holly and berries are my next favorite holiday image.  I stenciled my white card panel using the following Pinkfresh Studio Inks:  Key Lime, Olive, Emerald City, Candy Apple.  After ink-blending with the stencils, I ink-blended softly around the edges using Key Lime ink to give the panel more depth.  To finish, I splattered the panel with green and white paint.

My second card uses the Wintry Forest Stencil.  Each stencil creates a treeline that gives so much depth to the finished card.  The final layer is a layer for snow.  I used White Glitz Glitter Gel to add sparkling paste.  Then I splattered the panel with blue and white paint.  Ink colors used on this card:  Sky Blue, Summer Shower, Seaside, Storm, Sapphire.

For my third card, I used the Thrill of Hope Wreath Stencils.  The Thrill of Hope set is unique in that it has a coordinating sentiment stamp, die as well as hot foil plates.  I used all of these for the card.  I ink-blended the stencil using the following inks:  Key Lime, Grassy Knoll, Olive, Evergreen, Candy Apple.  When done, I again splattered the panel with paint.

To finish all three cards, I foiled the sentiments and attached them to my cards using foam adhesive.  I used the Perfect Sentiments Holiday Foil Plates are used on my first two cards and the Thrill of Hope Hot Foil Plates for my third card.  I trimmed my panels to mat their card bases and embellished them with Pinkfresh Studio Jewels.
