I think many of you are excited for today’s STAMPtember collaboration release – it’s GIna K. Designs! Like last year, we have a snowflake set!
This year’s Shimmering Snowflakes set is just gorgeous (they all are!). I can never get enough snowflakes!
I created an infinity/low-bulk/edge-to-edge shaker card. I do lots of ink-blending and embossing for today’s cards but the colors and shaker components all compliment each other.
I made a quick video and hope you’ll enjoy watching!
For the ink-blending, I used Distress Oxide Inks in Salvaged Patina, Mermaid Lagoon, and Chipped Sapphire. I used these colors for the background and the snowflake on the front/top of my shaker card.
I stamped the two smaller snowflakes on the background panel and embossed it with clear sparkle embossing powder for a subtle look and made the snowflake on the front more bold with white embossing powder.
I love that there is a space for a sentiment on this snowflake! I hope you like this card. Last year, the Gina K. Designs collaborative STAMPtember set was super popular and sold out before morning. I hope you get the chance to grab one before it sells out! Good luck!

Oh, my goodness, Caly! I love this card and I do believe it is my all-time favorite of all the videos I’ve seen for the releases at STAMPtember so far. It is gorgeous!! I love shaker cards but struggle with the foam tape because I don’t like how it looks from the sides. This edge-to-edge shaker card not only solves that problem, but it’s so much easier to make!! Thanks for sharing your talent. (Love your name, by the way. My daughter’s name is Kaly – made up from KAy LYnne – my first & middle names!)

Caly, first of all, what a gorgeous card! Ditto a millon times over! I also loved your video. You have such a lovely voice that I could listen to all day. I say this nicely, but sometimes craft instructions can be boring. 😂😂 I loved how you made it all so easy and that you didn’t use fancy or expensive supplies. I mean, you used the packaging! Wow! Like the other lady who commented, I have been intimidated by shakers, but this edge-to-edge style is easier. Such an enjoyable blog post. Girl, and sparkly, too! 💜
