Hello!!
At midnight (EST) last night (or this morning), Simon Says Stamp released TWO STAMPtember collaboration sets. I’m sharing the second one now with La-La-Land Crafts! The Hippo Holidays set is adorable!
I stamped and colored my images with Copic markers. Super easy when they’re all the same color ☺️.
Reds: R32, R35, R37, R39
Pinks: R20, RV21, RV21, RV25
Yellows: Y11, Y13, YR24
Greens: G20, G24, G28
Grays: [W0, W2, W4, W6]
When done coloring, I added lots of gel dots in various places to give the hippos interest.
I overlapped the images a bit to fit them all onto an A2-sized card panel. To ground the images, I also added some light coloring on the bottom using Copics in blues B0000, B000, B01 and grays [C00, C1, C3].
For my border, I used a red and white striped pieced of patterned paper from Lawn Fawn’s Let It Shine Petite Paper Pack. Makes it very festive for the holidays!

Oh my goodness, Caly! Nothing like cute hippos! All they needed was to wear glasses and I would have to get this set. 😂😂😂 Isn’t it funny how we cute up such dangerous animals like bears, hippos, and moose? I think that’s why so many people risk their lives to get selfies when they see these animals in the wild. They think they’re too cute to attack or hurt. Oh, but they sure are cute as stamps!! 😂😂😂 Cute, cute card, Caly.
