I’m so excited to be celebrate with Pretty Pink Posh today! There’s a blog hop sharing inspiration from their new release and it’s one of my favorites! So many wonderful sets. Today, I’m sharing two cards made using the Falling Leaves stamp, dies, and stencil!

I couldn’t decide between black embossing or gold embossing, so I did both! I started by stamping/embossing the leaves on white panels using the Falling Leaves stamp. For the black outline, I stamped with Versafine Claire Nocturne ink and embossed with clear embossing powder; for the gold outline, I stamped with Versamark ink and embossed with gold embossing powder.

Before the images are die-cut, I ink-blended them with Simon Says Stamp inks – exactly the same on both panels.

SSS Inks:  Fern, Goldenlocks, Burnt Orange, Schoolhouse Red, Merlot

After ink-blending, I die-cut all of the images and splattered them with white and gold paint to to give them texture and interest.

On white panels, I ink-blended around the edges lightly with the Fern ink before cutting it down 1/4″ all the way around to mat a card base. I laid all my images over it and when it was where I wanted it to be, I used some Glad Press N Seal to pick up all of the pieces at once, flip it over and added foam tape to the backsides of the leaves.

I placed the leaves over the ink-blended panel and trimmed all the overhang in my guillotine trimmer to clean it up. I finished by embossing and attaching the sentiments and added some Espresso Jewels.
