Part of the STAMPtember fun is Limited Edition Card Kits! The Halloween Boo Day Kit is here and I’m excited to share a few projects with you.
I started with the fun stencils in the kit. There is a slimline Mummy Wrap Stencil and a Spooky Eyes Stencil in this kit along with some other fun embellishments. I used the Mummy Wrap Stencil to create a mini slimline card. I used black cardstock as a base and used the Tim Holtz Grave Texture Paste to create a mummy card. To make it fun, I added large Googly Eyes and added an embossed sentiment from the Boo Day stamp set.
For the treat bags (also included in the kit), I decided to decorate the bag with the Spooky Eyes Stencil. I stenciled the light portions of the eyes with a white ink, then stenciled the pupils with a black ink – so fun! The ghost tassels are also a part of the kit – I used one to tie to the bag handle to give it more interest and then again, finished by attaching a sentiment from the Boo Day set.
My final project uses the Boo Day stamp set along with the patterned paper and Distress Markers from the kit. I stamped and colored my images using Copic markers.

Greens: G00, G03, G09
Purples: V01, V06, V09

I created a watercolor wash background using the Ripe Persimmon and Seedless Preserves markers from the kit. I scribbled the ink on a non-porous work surface and added water to paint it on some watercolor paper. Between coats, I let it dry so you can see all the wonderful texture. I then trimmed down this panel to mat a piece of Polkadoodles Batty Boos Paper patterned paper from the kit.
I finished by attaching the adorable images and embossed sentiment.
