Today’s STAMPtember collaborative release brings you the Be a Sunflower set from Honey Bee Stamps!

There have been so many beautiful sunflower products recently. I’ve colored with Copics and watercolored so I thought I’d do something a little different today by embossing and ink-blending.

I stamped the image twice with black ink and embossed it with clear embossing powder to do some emboss-resist ink-blending. I started with Lemon Zing ink and ink-blended the flower petals first, then the centers with Dark Chocolate ink, then finally, with Key Lime ink for the foliage.

I then trimmed my panel and stamped the sentiment. To give it more interest, I splattered the panel with white and gold paint.

I finished by adding some clear confetti sequins to my card. I thought it would be more interesting to have the card framed with the sunflowers. I hope you like it! Thanks so much for stopping by today.
