A new Lawn Fawnatics Challenge has begun! School has started for us – which usually makes you think fall is here. The current theme is Awesome Autumn!

I love when i get to use products in my stash that haven’t been used before! Of course with season-themed sets, I had to wait a whole year to use the Let’s Go Nuts set. I began by stamping and coloring the adorable images with Copic markers. You know the drill!

Reds:  R20 R32, R35, R37, R39
Yellows/Oranges:  Y00, Y15, YR09
Greens: [G03, G05, G09], [YG06, YG09]
Teals:  BG11, BG13, BG18
Browns: [E30, E31, E34, E37], [E40, E43, E44, E47]

To create my background, I ink-blended a cardbase with Salty Ocean Distress Oxide Ink. Then I splattered it with blue paint to give it some texture. I set that aside and worked on the Lift the Flap Tree Backdrop. I die-cut the backdrop from Light Brown Woodgrain Cardstock. I used some Gathered Twigs Distress Oxide Ink to ink-blend the sides of the tree trunks to give them more dimension.

I die-cut a Grassy Border using a yellow cardstock (Lawn Fawn Sticky Note) and ink-blended the top with residual Gathered Twigs Ink and Mowed Lawn Ink at the bottom to make them feel more fall-ish. For the tree canopy, I used a Puffy Cloud Border die and die-cut it from a light green cardstock (Lawn Fawn Cilantro) and ink-blended it with Mowed Lawn Distress Oxide Ink. I also splattered the tree canopy with green and white paint to give it more texture.

I finished by filling my scene with the fun images that I colored. Squirrels everywhere having a grand old time! I hope it brings a smile to your face!!!! I finished by adding a fall sentiment from the Jump For Joy stamp set.
