Phew! Stamptember is nearly over!! I can’t believe how fast this month went by! Want to know what else has gone by fast?? My oldest is 15 today! Happy Birthday, Noah! Earlier this month, I had colored a bunch of images from the Halloween Gnomies set. I’m finally sharing my second card because the collaborative sets have kept my calendar full. It’s never too late though!
I stamped and colored my images with Copic markers.
Oranges: YR01, YR02, YR04, YR09
Yellows: [Y00, Y11, Y15], [YR23, YR27}
Greens: YG06, YG09, G17
Purples: BV02, BV04, BV08
Grays: W1, [C0, C2, C4, C6, C8]
Browns: [E000, E51, E11], [E31, E33, E35, E37]
I made this slimline panel originally to use with the Gnome Treehouse die but it didn’t fit the slimline height, so I decided instead to use a big and bold sentiment. My background is first ink-blended with Distress Oxide Inks: Vintage Photo, Tea Dye, Dusty Concord, Wilted Violet. I splattered the background with white, brown and purple ink to give it lots of texture, then I ink-blended the Layered Bats using Black Soot Distress Oxide Ink.
Before attaching my images and embossed sentiments, I stamped the spider web in the left-hand corner so I could adhere a hanging spider too. I fussy-cut around the words happy and gnome tricks, just treats to keep it cohesive with the big halloween sentiment that I embossed. I attached my images and the sentiments with foam tape for lots dimension. To finish, I flooded my Halloween word with Glossy Accents for some added shine.
