Hi, Friends!
I can not believe it’s October! Clearly Besotted released the Sweet Florals ABCs 1 and Sweet Florals ABCs 2 sets a few months ago and I thought it would be fun to use to create an October card. They are great for personalizing cards too.
To make this card, I stamped out the letters and colored them with Copic markers.
O: YR20, YR21, YR23, YR27
C: BG70, BG72, BG75
T: E11, E13, E17, E19
O: YG61, YG63, YG67
B: E41, E42, E43
E: B41, B45
R: Y21, Y23, Y26
Flowers and Leaves: [RV91, RV93, RV95, RV99], [R81, R56, R59] [Y11, Y02, Y18, Y38], [G20, G82, G85]
These sets do not come with coordinating dies, so I fussy-cut around the letters. It’s not too bad!I even used a crafting knife to cut out the insides of the b and e. For the background, I used the Branch Out Stencil to ink-blend Scattered Straw, Wild Honey, and Rusty Hinge Distress Oxide Inks.
This card ended up being a mini-slimline card to accommodate the letters. To give the panel some interest, I splatted it with brown paint. To finish, I attached them to the ink-blended panel using foam adhesive to give it lots of dimension. I hope you like it!

That is the cutest alphabet, Caly. Cute card. So pretty. I don’t know if you can relate to this, but I have an alphabet set that is similar with each letter having a different design. One has zebra stripes, another has polka dots, etc. Ask me where it is? I have no clue. It’s somewhere in my stash. haha 😂😂😂 You’re probably better organized, than I am, but I sometimes find stamps that I forgot I had or realize that I have doubles. 😂😂😂 Wonderful card, Caly.

There is a method to the madness. 😂😂😂 I was seriously injured a while back. I cut a varicose vein while shaving my legs and it turned life-threatening pretty fast with a DVT that no one knew was there. I went from running 5 miles every day (had already lost 100+ pounds) to barely able to stand or walk. It’s been a LONG and painful and sad road. Many, many tears. I lost everything and have been living with my mother so my craft stuff is in container bins. I always say, “I know I have that….somewhere.” 😂😂😂 I hope to get my own place soon (if Covid will let me) and have a craft room. Girl, may God help me to unpack!!! 😂😂😂😂
