I’m so excited to share projects with you in the next several days using new release products from the Simon Says Stamp Peace on Earth Release! Today’s card features new snowflakes from Simon Says Stamp. The Snowflake Edges set is a beautiful stamp set and we have two new snowflake dies the Harmony Snowflakes, and the Aurora Snowflake die.
I embossed an image from the Snowflake Edges stamp set on a white panel and ink-blended it with Distress Oxides for some resist-ink-blending using Mermaid Lagoon, Broken China, and Speckled Egg. I splattered this panel with water, white and blue paint for texture, then set it aside to die-cut my snowflakes.
I die-cut both sets of snowflakes using white and silver gliitter cardstock to give them lots of shine and sparkle. I then staggered them from the top corner of my card, cascading towards the image I embossed earlier. I adhered them to the card for a one-layer look.
The sentiment is from the new Reverse Brr Sentiment Strips. I chopped down the sentiment to stagger them and adhered them with foam tape for dimension. To finish, I used some Nuvo Crystal drops in white and added a few drops here and there for interest.
