The Simon Says Stamp Peace on Earth Release went live last night! I’m back to share another card using new products from that release!

To create my background, I used the Holiday Stems and Berries background cling stamp to do some faux watercolor. I inked the background using Pine Needles and Rustic Wilderness Distress Inks. Before stamping, I used a cotton swab to remove green ink from the berries and colored them with a Festive Berries Distress Marker. Then to activate the ink to create the faux watercolor, I spritzed the cling stamp with water before stamping it onto watercolor paper. It creates a beautiful faux watercolor look!

To give it additional texture, I splattered the panel with gold and white paint. Next, I die-cut the Large Joy using new Matte Gold Cardstock and it’s outline with black cardstock. I cut the word joy twice more using white cardstock to layer it for dimension.

I finished by adhering a sentiment from the Reverse Love Peace Joy Sentiment Strips and some new gold sequins from Autumn Sky Mix from this release.
