I have admired the Leafy Christmas Tree die and bought it to use and I’m so excited to share my project with you today! I didn’t expect the layers to be so big! It was a pleasant surprise.

There are three dies-for three unique layers. When stacked together, it creates such beautiful depth depending on the colors you used. I die-cut the layers using two different shades of green cardstock and changed them up using different green Distress Oxide Ink shades in Lucky Clover and Pine Needles.

When I was done ink-blending the layers from the center out, I splattered them with green and white paint before adhering them together. For my background, I embossed the Outline Snowflakes onto white cardstock with white embossing powder. Then I ink-blended with Speckled Egg, Stormy Sky, and Faded Jeans Distress Oxide Inks.

After attaching my tree to the background panel, I gave it some interest by adding some pearls over the tree in various areas, then attached a sentiment using the Reverse Christmas Sentiments printed sentiment set. I hope you like it!!! This could be created with a simple white background and would be beautiful too! Thanks so much for stopping by today!
