Last night (early this morning), the Handmade Holiday Release went live! I shared a fun stenciled card. Today, I want to share a shaker card using the new First Night die and new Glittering Snow Sequin Mix!

To create today’s card, I used the First Night die and centered it on top of a white panel. It creates a window. You can also cut a circle frame by using another circle die that you have, but I opted to create a shaker card. I adhered some acetate under the opening of this nativity scene to turn it into a shaker window.

On a card base, I masked off the borders and ink-blended the sky using Distress Oxide Inks in Prize Ribbon, Chipped Sapphire and Gathered Twigs. I also splattered it with white paint for snow. White that was drying, I prepared my sentiment by using Soft Navy cardstock and Matte Silver cardstock using the Cathy Zielske Alleluia die.

I added foam tape to the bottom of my die-cut panel to give it some height, then added some of the new Glittering Snow Sequin Mix before sealing it in. I attached my sentiment and my card is completed! A very simple card but the message is loud and clear. I hope you like it! Thanks so much for stopping by today!
