Hello again, Friends!

I’ve got another Handmade Holiday card to share today. This release is filled with beautiful stencils. The Candy Canes Stencils is so fun and I couldn’t help but ink it up!

There are a two layers. One is more random while the other forms candy cane hearts. I ink-blended the random layer with a soft pink using Cotton Candy ink. I used the second layer to ink-blend a brighter color using Watermelon Ink. To give my card even more color and interest, I isolated a few hearts to use the new Cherry Glitz Glitter Paste over.

For my sentiment, I used the Merry Frame die from a previous release. The sub-sentiment is from the Reverse Christmas Sentiment Strips set. I die-cut the Merry Frame die from Gold Glitter cardstock and adhered it to vellum before adhering. To add one additional element to my card, I die-cut the Etched Berry Branch in white sit sit just under my sentiment.

There are lots of ways to add interest to a stenciled card – a simple die, some sentiments raised with foam, sequins, glitter, etc. I hope this gives you a few ways to spruce up your stenciled projects! Thanks so much for stopping by!
