I have one more card to share from the latest Handmade Holiday Release! Rainbows really are good year round and the Love Peace Joy Rainbow is proof of that!
The rainbow is a single stamp, but I masked off a few bands to use three colors using Pawsitively Saturated Inks in Blush, Limelicious, and Ocean inks. Then before die-cutting the rainbow, I embossed the Love Peace and Joy sentiments over the rainbow bands – which is also one single stamp.
To give my background some texture and interest, I used one of the new 3D embossing folders from the release. I felt the Pine Bouquet was great for it because it’s a frame and leaves room for my rainbow. I embossed it over white cardstock and attached my sentiment with foam adhesive to give it dimension.
The sentiment below my rainbow is also from the Love Peace Joy Rainbow Stamp set. I embossed it over black cardstock to ground the rainbow, but let’s face it, I’m down for a black, crisply-embossed sentiment strip on almost all my cards! I finished by embellishing my card with a few new sequins from the Glimmering Snow Sequin Mix.

Hola, Caly! Such a sweet card. Those embossing folders are fabulous, aren’t they? Just gorgeous! I just love how much you can do with them. 💜 Caly, are you guys in the path of that blizzard? Be safe and stay warm. I know that sounds dumb, but you get me. 😂😂😂 Of course, you can always come down and tan with us. We’ve been just shy of 80*F and sunny, warm all week and for the next week to come, the weather guy said. 🌞🌞🌞

It’s sooo cold! We had sunshine, rain, some pea-sized hail and sun again on Thursday. Yesterday, we even got a few flurries! The weather has been so odd!

Brrrrr…….. that sounds cold, Caly. I think damp cold is the worst. Your weather sounds like Texas weather. Sometimes we don’t know how to dress because we’ll get “cold” for a couple of days and then BAM! We’re back to the 80’s, humid, and using the A/C. Remember that snow storm that we got in February? It lasted a week and then the next day we were mid-60’s and sunny. WHAT? 😂 Of course, we stay more sunny than not so come on down any time, Caly. 😂😂 Stay warm, my friend.
