Simon Says Stamp has a special Limited Edition Holiday Card Kit for you! I’ve got two cards to share using most of the main products from the card kit. My first card uses the Season of Joy 6″ x 8″ stamp set.

I stamped and colored the large poinsettia spray using Copic markers. It’s lot enough for a slimline card and spans the entire length of my 3.5″ x 8.5″ slimline card.

Poinsettia:  R81, R83, R85, R89, YG21, YG23
Holly:  G02, G05, G09
Round Leaves:  G40, G43, G46
Large Pointed Leaves:  G12, G14, G19
Pine Needles:  E35, G24, G29

For the background, I used a piece of patterned paper from Simple Stories’ Vintage Rustic Christmas 6″ x 8″ Paper. There are 12 sheets of this double-sided patterned paper in the kit and is a great sampling! To give it some interest, I ink-blended the left side with the new Fairway (green) Pawsitively Saturated Ink from Simon Says Stamp.

I stenciled over it using the new Delicate Snowflakes Stencil and Tim Holtz Snowfall Grit Paste. When that was dry, I also added a layer of Icicle Crackle Paste at the corners on the left side. The crackling that occurs as it dries is incredible!! I attached my floral spray over it and finished by attaching an embossed sentiment.

There are so many goodies in this kit, I just had to create with new Simon Says Stamp Christmas Floral Embossing Folder and the Simple Stories Vintage Rustic Christmas Bits & Pieces and Woodland Bits & Pieces for a quick and simple card using these beautiful images.

I embossed the Christmas Floral image over white paper before layering the cardstock images over it to create a spray. I attached the images using foam adhesive and attached a sentiment from the Simple Stories Vintage Rustic Christmas Bits & Pieces pack. Super quick and easy! This kit is a great value when you think about how many quick cards you can put together from these beautiful image packs!
