Hey Friends!

There’s a new Anita Jeram release today! I have two cards to share with you, but there are other new products in this release that you should definitely check out! These bunnies and their friends preparing for Christmas are just adorable!

My cards today use the Hiding Presents and Getting Ready sets. Both sets are created in similar ways. I stamped and colored the images using Copic markers.

Reds:  R32, R35, R37, r39
Yellows. Y00, YR23, YR24
Greens:  G12, G14, G16
Teals:  BG11, BG13, BG15, BG18
Blues: [B000, B000, B00], [B21, B24]
Browns:  [tree and mouses:  E50, E31, E34, E37], [bunny:  E40, E41, E42, E43, W00, W3]
Pink/blush:  R30

After coloring the images, I die-cut them using the coordinating dies. To create the backgrounds, I stamped the bottoms of the images onto masking paper to mask off the bottom so that I could ink-blend the top portions using Salvaged Patina Distress Oxide Inks. For the bottom sections, I colored with Copic marerks – the same used for the ground on the stamped images.

I liked up my images over the masked horizon line and attached my images using foam adhesive to give it lots of dimension.

For the sentiments, I simply stamped them with a crisp black ink directly to the card panels. Next, I splattered both panels with white paint to imitate snow for more interest.

I finished by matting both cards over coordinating cardstock using Lipstick Red and Peacock Teal Simon Says Stamp Cardstock.
