Hi, Friends!

I’m on sharing a fun card today using products from Lawn Fawn. My projects are also on the Lawn Fawn Blog and YouTube Channel, but I love being able to share it right away here with you as well. I love Lawn Fawn’s interactive dies and I always get excited when I get the chance to create with them.

Today’s card features the Magic Iris die, as well as the Magic Iris Add-On and new Magic Iris Snowflake Add-On. I love that their interactive dies continue to be more versatile with their add-on products. I used the Mice on Ice set today to create a winter scene.

I used the Stitched Snowflake Backdrop die to create a pink stitched background for the sky. I started with a light pink cardstock (Lawn Fawn’s Ballet Slippers) and ink-blended it with Worn Lipstick and Seedless Preserves before die-cutting the Stitched Snowflake Backdrop onto it. The Magic Iris Snowflake Add-On is layered with a layer of Pixie Dust (white) glitter cardstock as well as Pearlescent Vellum. The shimmer is just gorgeous in real life!

I love that the magic iris opens to reveal a skating mouse! I used Pixie Dust cardstock for the background of the magic iris for lots of sparkles. Once you get the Magic Iris put together, creating the scene is fun! All it takes is a few quick and easy images, and these mice really were quick and easy to color.

Copics Colors Used:
Reds:  R32, R35, R37
Teals:  BG11, BG13
Blues:  B00, B02
Purples:  BV11, BV13
Browns:  E35, E37
Mice:  R30, E40, E41, E42, E43

I used the Stitched Pond die to create some grounding for the mice, but since this is such a small area, you can also use any hillside border die as well. I attached my skating mice and finished my card with white-embossed sentiments over black cardstock from the Mice on Ice stamp set.
